Week 6: Podcast

In this week classes, the fun has just started. My task for this week was to create a podcast using the Audacity App. Oh boy! this was stressful. First, we had to choose a Level, Subject and Topic that I will work with later when writing my ASSURE Model Lesson Plans for homework and take it to the class. I also had to walk with a headphone so that I can listen to my podcast. Secondly, I had to create a script that I would use for my podcast as part of my lesson plan also. This was challenging. I did not know how to create a song, or poem but the Lecturer made it easier by giving me the option of creating a dictation of instructions for an Activity within the lesson.

In Class, the Lecturer helped us to download Audacity App from the website www.ninite.com. It was a quick and easy method. 

After completing the downloading, the lecturer showed us how to use the App to record and to edit. It looked complicated but she made it look very adventurous and fun. We recorded a podcast along with the lecturer as a sample voice note.

Finally, we all had to create our own podcast script and create a podcast using the app but it was a bit hard to do so because of the noise within the room. We had to separate in different rooms to find quietness.

In my podcast there was banging sound in the background. I tried to remove the sound but it was difficult for me to do so. With the assistance off the lecturer we were still unable to remove the sound and I accidentally deleted it. Therefore, I had to start all over. I follow the instructions of the lecturer n I got it done correctly.
