Week 2 Reflections : Introduction to the internet and Issues in Media and Technology

 Task 1:Group Activity

• In groups of 4, create 5 classroom rules that you will use in your technology class and illustrate them to the class.
• Research and write the definition and examples of Google Search, Advanced Search and Bookmarking and create a role play to explain terms

My group did a wonderful job at creating our rules in a short time span. It wasn't really challenging because we got clear instructions from the teacher on how to stated the rules. The only issue we had was that we didn't decorate or show illustrations of the rules on the poster we created. 

We researched Google Search which we discover that is the most used search engine on the world wide web.

Advanced Search options are a set of very useful features offered by most search engines and search tools on the web.

                                   

Bookmarking 

Task 2 : Google Forms

The lecturer emailed some assignments to be done on google forms via email. 

The challenges that I faced was accessing the forms on my laptop which started to give problems. It wasn't allowing me to connect to the internet so I was unable to complete the forms until I went by a friend. I completed my assignments in a rush cause it was late in the night but I tried my best to answer in the best way I can.  The google forms were about computer basic as in the parts of the computer; the external and internal components and their uses. Also, the forms dealt with storage devices in technology and used in computers. In my Classroom I will incorporate google forms by sending home work assignments and allow students to save assignments and research on the suitable storage devices.
